- Arrange hearing coverage, confirm attendance needs, and record outcomes so attorneys and clients remain informed of case developments.
- Maintain complete and current case records in legal databases and file systems, ensuring information is organized and easy to retrieve.
- Track active matters from filing through resolution, following up on outstanding items and helping move pending issues forward.
- Assemble supporting materials for hearings and proceedings, including affidavits, exhibits, and other required documentation.
- Assist with judgment enforcement and collection efforts by coordinating post-decision activity and related legal support tasks.
- Support trial and hearing preparation by organizing files, coordinating witnesses when needed, and preparing materials for attorney use.
- Provide status updates and reporting support by compiling case activity details for attorneys and client communications.
- At least 3 years of paralegal experience in creditor rights, collections, civil litigation, insurance subrogation, or another fast-paced legal practice.
- Working knowledge of civil court procedures and the Rules of Civil Procedure.
