Sr. Accountant - Financial Repoorting

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to support external financial reporting and core accounting activities for a large organization in Yulee, Florida. This role focuses on producing accurate quarterly and annual filings, preparing investor-facing reporting materials, and contributing to a reliable close and consolidation process. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a CPA credential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting documents, including narrative disclosures, financial statement footnotes, and management analysis content.
• Create earnings materials and supporting investor reporting packages for quarterly communication cycles.
• Review and validate iXBRL tagging to help ensure regulatory submissions are complete and accurate.
• Prepare financial statements and related regulatory filings for employee benefit plans, including annual Form 11-K submissions.
• Record assigned journal entries during the monthly close process and verify supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Reconcile designated balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Support the monthly consolidation of financial results across reporting entities to ensure complete and consistent reporting.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with reporting deadlines and accounting standards.

• Active CPA designation is required.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including work with external financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SEC reporting, including quarterly and annual filing support.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and journal entry preparation.
• Proven ability to perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet activity.
• Experience reviewing detailed financial disclosures with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations and other core accounting control activities.
