- Coordinate recruiting-related tasks such as posting openings, assisting with hiring workflows, preparing offer materials, and supporting a smooth candidate-to-employee transition.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for employees and managers by answering HR questions and providing practical guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
- Partner with leadership to address employee relations matters, support performance discussions, and help align staffing decisions with business needs.
- Administer benefits-related processes, respond to employee inquiries, and help ensure accurate and timely communication around available programs.
- Support HR operations for employees working in multiple states by applying sound judgment around compliance requirements and escalating higher-risk legal questions when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data to support reporting, documentation, and overall operational efficiency.
- Contribute HR support across assigned client groups and provide additional assistance to other business units as organizational priorities shift.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar broad HR support role.
- Demonstrated background in employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits support.
- Working knowledge of employment practices affecting multi-state workforces and the ability to recognize when specialized guidance is needed.
- Experience using HRIS platforms to manage employee information and support day-to-day HR processes.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities with minimal supervision, and remain effective in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with employees and leaders.
- Comfortable supporting recruiting activities, employee documentation, and general people operations for a distributed workforce.
