- Coordinate the collection, review, and distribution of pre-closing and post-closing documentation to help confirm all parties meet required obligations.
- Assist attorneys with due diligence by ordering and reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning materials, entity records, and other property-related documents.
- Support the drafting and assembly of real estate transaction documents, including escrow materials, consent documents, and transfer-related forms.
- Attend closings when needed, manage execution logistics, and maintain accurate closing records and organized electronic files.
- Handle post-closing tasks such as preparing binders, distributing final documents, sending required notices, and tracking outstanding follow-up items.
- Process invoices from outside vendors involved in transactions and maintain timely, accurate time entry and matter-related records.
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of a paralegal certification program is required.
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm environment with a strong focus on commercial real estate matters.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and coordinating title and survey materials for real estate transactions.
- Working knowledge of real estate documentation, contracts, due diligence processes, and closing procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple active matters independently while maintaining strong organization and close attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and internal support teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to perform occasional physical file handling and remain effective in a primarily office-based, in-person work environment.
