We are looking for a skilled Network & Systems Administrator to support and strengthen a hybrid IT environment in California. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who combines strong systems administration expertise with hands-on network support and end-user troubleshooting. The role will focus on maintaining core infrastructure, improving platform reliability, and helping advance security-focused initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Windows-based server environments, ensuring stable performance, availability, and timely issue resolution.
- Manage identity and access services through Active Directory and Entra, including user administration, permissions, and policy enforcement.
- Provide support for endpoint management tools such as Intune to maintain device compliance, configuration, and deployment standards.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 administration and assist with SharePoint organization, maintenance, and content cleanup efforts.
- Troubleshoot and support core network components, helping maintain connectivity, performance, and dependable daily operations.
- Deliver desktop and user support for Windows 10 environments, resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues.
- Maintain and support infrastructure involving Dell technologies and Citrix platforms where needed across the environment.
- Contribute to cybersecurity implementation efforts by assisting with compliance measures, security controls, and operational best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, network administration, or a closely related infrastructure support role.
- Hands-on experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows 10 environments.
- Working knowledge of Intune and Entra for device management, identity administration, and policy management.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including administrative tasks related to collaboration and productivity platforms.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts and the ability to troubleshoot common connectivity and performance issues.
- Exposure to Dell technologies and Citrix environments within enterprise IT operations.
- Understanding of cybersecurity compliance or implementation support within a corporate technology environment.
