Responsibilities:
- Organize morning outbound operations by preparing shipments, arranging packages, and creating efficient driver routes for the day.
- Scan, tag, and sort parcels accurately to support smooth movement through the warehouse and dispatch process.
- Oversee active delivery routes and make real-time adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time performance.
- Verify geofence settings and address discrepancies that could affect delivery tracking accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve package-related concerns promptly, including failed drop-offs, missing items, and delivery exceptions.
- Track shipment progress and update delivery statuses to ensure clear visibility across daily operations.
- Coordinate schedules for independent contractor drivers and confirm adequate coverage for assigned routes.
- Manage live message communications and respond to operational questions from drivers and internal teams.
- Review proof-of-delivery photos to confirm completion quality and support compliance standards.
- Prior experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computer-based dispatching, tracking, and messaging systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating driver schedules, route activity, or shipment movement is preferred.
- Ability to identify problems quickly and take practical action to keep deliveries on track.
- Familiarity with warehouse package handling, scanning, or shipping workflows is a plus.
