We are looking for an experienced and service-focused Concierge - Level 1 to support a seasonal gift-wrapping experience in New York, New York. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a warm, upscale guest experience while delivering careful, high-quality presentation for gifts of all sizes. The role is fully in person and requires a detail-oriented approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized during busy holiday traffic. Assignment Duration: 11/27 - 12/24 - 30hrs a week
Responsibilities:
- Welcome each guest in a friendly, attentive manner and create a memorable service experience at the gift-wrapping station.
- Wrap a variety of items neatly and efficiently using appropriate materials to achieve a refined, high-end presentation.
- Guide guests through available packaging choices, including wrap styles, ribbons, bows, bags, and decorative finishing touches.
- Maintain the station so it remains orderly, well supplied, and visually appealing throughout the day.
- Monitor inventory of wrapping materials and restock paper, tape, ribbon, gift bags, and related supplies as needed.
- Respond to guest questions with courtesy and provide timely support while managing multiple requests at once.
- Keep service moving smoothly by tracking wait times and organizing workflow during peak holiday periods.
- Work closely with onsite team members and follow workplace policies and safety expectations during all shifts.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in customer service, hospitality, concierge support, or a similar guest-facing role.
- Flexible schedule from Monday through Sunday
- Demonstrated hands-on gift-wrapping ability with attention to presentation quality and consistency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate warmly and effectively with a wide range of guests.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once without sacrificing accuracy, cleanliness, or service standards.
- Comfortable working in a fully in-person environment during a high-volume seasonal assignment.
- Dependable judgment, attention to detail, and a positive attitude during fast-paced holiday operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
