- Support month-end close, AP accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare AP aging, payment status, and outstanding invoice reports.
- Train or guide AP team members on procedures and system workflows.
- Partner with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, and Accounting to resolve invoice holds.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to invoice routing and documentation.
- Help prepare schedules and supporting files for internal and external audits.
- 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Prior lead, senior-level, or peer-training experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of invoice matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment controls.
- Experience with ERP platforms and advanced Excel functions is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on processing with team support and process improvement.
