The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable working closely with operations, HR, payroll, and safety teams to meet workforce needs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire recruitment process for a range of positions, from initial outreach through final offer acceptance.
- Develop talent pipelines using direct sourcing, referral channels, community outreach, and job advertisements to attract candidates with relevant experience.
- Review applications, conduct preliminary evaluations, and coordinate interviews to move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and monitor hiring activity within the applicant tracking system to ensure an organized recruitment workflow.
- Build partnerships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and local organizations to strengthen long-term talent sourcing efforts.
- Support onboarding activities from accepted offer through the first 90 days, helping new hires complete required steps for a successful start.
- Work with operations leaders to anticipate staffing needs based on upcoming projects and projected labor demand.
- Partner with field leadership, payroll, HR, and safety teams to coordinate assessments, employment screenings, paperwork, orientation, and job readiness requirements.
- Track recruiting performance data and provide regular updates on hiring progress, challenges, and workforce trends to HR leadership.
- Assist with apprentice development, licensing coordination, and training initiatives that support career growth and frontline leadership readiness.
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
- Background recruiting for high-volume, field-based, corporate, or construction-related roles.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and the ability to manage candidate pipelines with accuracy and consistency.
- Experience building sourcing networks through referrals, schools, community organizations, and other external partners.
- Working knowledge of employment practices and applicable hiring laws.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, HR, payroll, and safety functions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
