Azure Administrator – SI Systems Integration | Georgetown, TX Total Site Solutions (TSS), Georgetown, TX, is seeking a talented and results-driven Azure Administrator to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure within our systems integration (SI) environment. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of the Azure cloud services that support our business applications and operations. The Azure Administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and optimize Azure resources in line with best practices and compliance standards, while monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing automation to improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor Azure resources to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Participate in capacity planning and cost management to optimize cloud resource utilization.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security controls and compliance policies to safeguard cloud environments.
Automation & Troubleshooting
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and Azure automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
- Maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Critical Requirements
- Azure expertise: deep knowledge of Azure services and security protocols to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Automation and troubleshooting: scripting proficiency and strong problem-solving skills to streamline operations and quickly resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar cloud operations role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
- Experience working within a systems integration (SI) environment.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes on Azure.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
