We are looking for a creative Videographer to support a video production project in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a Contract position for someone who can capture compelling footage, shape engaging visual stories through editing, and keep deliverables on schedule. The ideal candidate brings hands-on production experience, strong technical ability with video equipment, and a practical approach to managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video content on location and in controlled settings, ensuring strong composition, lighting, and audio whenever applicable.
- Edit raw footage into finished video pieces that align with project goals, brand standards, and audience expectations.
- Plan and coordinate production activities from setup through final delivery while keeping milestones and deadlines on track.
- Operate and maintain video cameras and related production equipment to support smooth and efficient shoots.
- Organize media files, project assets, and edit timelines to maintain an orderly and reliable post-production workflow.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand creative direction and translate concepts into effective visual content.
- Review completed work for continuity, pacing, and overall quality before releasing final deliverables.
- At least 3 years of experience in videography, video production, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated skill in filming and editing video content for a range of project needs.
- Hands-on experience using video cameras and standard production equipment.
- Ability to manage timelines effectively and balance multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of video composition, shot selection, and post-production best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with team members and project stakeholders.
