We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support and enhance core enterprise infrastructure in Fremont, California. This Contract position will focus on maintaining secure, reliable, and efficient environments across directory services, server platforms, messaging systems, and virtualized technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in Microsoft-based infrastructure and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, administration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize Active Directory environments, including user access, group policies, and directory health.
- Manage Microsoft Windows Server systems to ensure stability, performance, and ongoing operational readiness.
- Support Azure Active Directory administration, including identity management and access control configuration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Citrix technologies to provide dependable application and desktop delivery services.
- Oversee Microsoft Exchange administration, including mailbox management, system performance, and issue resolution.
- Monitor infrastructure services and respond to incidents with timely diagnosis and corrective action.
- Implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes while minimizing service disruption.
- Document technical procedures, environment changes, and support activities to maintain operational visibility.
- Hands-on experience administering Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and support.
- Experience managing Azure Active Directory and related identity services.
- Familiarity with Citrix technologies for virtual application or desktop environments.
- Practical experience supporting Microsoft Exchange systems.
- Ability to diagnose infrastructure issues and resolve them in a structured, efficient manner.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
