- Help uphold accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting standards across daily financial operations.
- Experience in staff accounting with hands-on responsibility for accounts payable, payroll processing, and general ledger support.
- Working knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting fundamentals.
- Familiarity with sales tax, payroll tax, and broader corporate tax support activities, including compliance documentation.
- Ability to manage vendor payments, maintain accurate accounting records, and investigate discrepancies independently.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of fixed asset accounting, depreciation entries, and balance sheet account maintenance.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments, vendors, and external auditors.
