Description
We are seeking an experienced Public Relations professional to provide full-time interim support. This contract role will step into active workstreams quickly, helping keep day-to-day PR priorities moving while partnering closely with internal leadership and an external PR agency.
This is a hands-on execution role for someone who is highly organized, a strong writer and communicator, and comfortable owning workstreams with limited oversight. While the PR agency will lead much of the day-to-day media relations and pitching, this person will play a critical role in ensuring the internal work behind strong communications - messaging, briefing materials, fact-finding, award submissions, executive content, approvals, and cross-functional coordination - moves forward seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day PR execution and project management across priority brand, corporate, and executive communications workstreams, keeping timelines, inputs, approvals, and deliverables on track.
- Develop and maintain communications materials, including briefing documents, talking points, FAQs, messaging, press materials, LinkedIn and executive copy, and other written communications.
- Maintain and update core messaging and company facts, partnering with Insights, Finance, and other internal teams to validate claims, business metrics, consumer data, and supporting proof points.
- Lead award submissions end-to-end, including identifying required inputs, gathering information cross-functionally, drafting submissions, managing approvals, and tracking deadlines and outcomes.
- Support executive communications and media preparation, including briefing materials, talking points, interview prep, and follow-up for priority opportunities.
- Partner with the PR agency on day-to-day execution, providing internal context and materials, coordinating approvals, tracking action items, and helping ensure agency workstreams continue moving efficiently.
- Support integrated campaigns and company announcements, coordinating with Brand, Social, Influencer, Partnerships, Creative, and other teams to ensure PR deliverables are aligned and executed on time.
- Support PR reporting and documentation, helping maintain trackers, capture results, and ensure clear visibility into priorities, progress, risks, and next steps.
- Proactively identify gaps, dependencies, or decisions needed and bring forward recommended next steps rather than waiting for direction.
