We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida for a Contract position with an expected duration of 1 to 3 months. This on-site role supports daily talent acquisition activities and is well suited for someone with prior HR or recruiting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. The person in this position will help move candidates through the hiring process efficiently while providing organized administrative support to the internal recruitment function.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Talent Acquisition team by reviewing applicants and helping identify candidates who meet hiring needs.
- Conduct initial candidate conversations to assess qualifications, interest, and overall fit for open positions.
- Coordinate and confirm interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers for both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records within the HRIS and related recruitment systems.
- Assist with onboarding activities and ensure required pre-employment steps are completed in a timely manner.
- Help facilitate background screening and drug testing as part of the hiring process.
- Communicate professionally with applicants, internal stakeholders, and managers throughout each stage of recruitment.
- Provide general HR administrative support related to hiring, employee documentation, and recruiting workflows.
- Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition support, or a closely related administrative role.
- Familiarity with HR administration processes, including interview coordination, onboarding, and candidate tracking.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; exposure to Paylocity is helpful but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and stay organized in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-focused approach to candidate and team interactions.
- Comfortable working on-site Monday through Friday in Delray Beach, Florida.
- All candidates are required to undergo substance testing.
