Responsibilities:
- Organize the morning dispatch process by preparing loads, arranging packages, and building efficient daily routes for drivers.
- Scan, tag, and sort shipments accurately to support timely departures and smooth warehouse workflow.
- Oversee active delivery routes throughout the day and make adjustments to improve efficiency and on-time performance.
- Maintain accurate geofence information to support delivery tracking and operational visibility.
- Investigate and resolve package-related issues quickly, including missing items, failed delivery attempts, and age-verification exceptions.
- Track shipment status updates and document delivery progress to ensure issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Coordinate scheduling for independent contractor drivers and confirm appropriate coverage for daily volume demands.
- Monitor live messaging channels and respond to operational communications in a timely manner.
- Review proof-of-delivery photos to verify completion and uphold service quality standards.
- Experience in dispatching, transportation coordination, or logistics operations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using computer-based dispatch, tracking, or routing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
