Responsibilities:
- Organize morning load-out activities by preparing packages for dispatch and arranging delivery routes for the day’s drivers.
- Process outbound shipments by scanning, labeling, and sorting parcels with a high level of accuracy.
- Oversee active delivery routes throughout the day and make adjustments to improve timing and efficiency.
- Maintain location and geofence data to support accurate routing and delivery tracking.
- Investigate and resolve package exceptions quickly, including failed deliveries, missing items, and age-verification concerns.
- Track shipment progress and update delivery statuses to ensure visibility across daily operations.
- Coordinate schedules for independent contractor drivers and confirm adequate route coverage.
- Monitor live message channels and respond promptly to operational questions or delivery issues.
- Review proof-of-delivery photos to verify completion and identify discrepancies when needed.
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills when working with drivers, internal teams, and delivery stakeholders.
- Comfortable using dispatch platforms, shipment tracking tools, and computer-based systems.
- Strong attention to detail when handling package status updates, documentation, and route information.
