🌟 Budget & Accounting Analyst | Prestigious Organization | NYC We're partnering with a highly prestigious and well-established organization to hire a Budget & Accounting Analyst to support the Finance Manager and retail branch operations across the New York City area.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional looking to gain hands-on experience across budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and client service while working within a highly respected organization.
They are in the office 5x days a week in NYC.
As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).
Compensation is based on experience:
The range is between $65 - $80k base
What You'll Do:
✅ Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for multiple retail branch locations ✅ Assist with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes ✅ Process and monitor AP/AR transactions ✅ Perform variance analysis and provide insights into branch financial performance ✅ Partner with branch leadership and key stakeholders across the business ✅ Serve as a client-facing resource, interacting with both internal and external partners ✅ Gain exposure to the broader Corporate Finance and Accounting team in NYC, providing visibility into larger-scale financial operations and career growth opportunities
What We're Looking For:
✔ 1+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related experience ✔ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field ✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills ✔ Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail ✔ Ability to work effectively with both internal and external clients ✔ Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus
Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.
