We are looking for an Operations Processor to support day-to-day financial and administrative operations for a long-term contract opportunity based in Panama City, Florida. This role focuses on maintaining accurate payment records, resolving account issues, and helping reduce processing risk through careful review and follow-up. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with accounts payable tasks and invoice entry in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner while verifying supporting details before submission.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Perform accounts payable activities, including reviewing documentation, matching records, and assisting with payment processing.
- Monitor transactions for potential issues and apply sound judgment to support risk reduction and compliance with operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate data entry within Encompass and related systems to ensure complete and reliable records.
- Track open items, follow up on outstanding issues, and provide updates to support efficient account resolution.
- Review financial and operational information for accuracy and escalate exceptions when additional attention is required.
- Experience handling account resolution in an operations, finance, or administrative setting.
- Background in entering vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and standard documentation practices.
- Familiarity with risk awareness principles and the ability to identify processing discrepancies.
- Experience using Encompass or a similar operational or financial platform.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and resolving issues.
