Description
We are looking for a fully remote eDS Paralegal to support document-intensive legal matters involving digital evidence, audio, and video materials. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for a legal specialist who can manage high-volume review work while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The role will focus on eDiscovery tasks, review of recorded evidence, and organized tracking of case-related information, with preference for candidates who bring experience from government or public sector environments.
Responsibilities:
- Review audio and video files to identify relevant content, key events, and case-supporting details.
- Examine electronic documents and digital records using Adobe-based tools to support discovery workflows.
- Organize, categorize, and track legal materials so case information remains accessible and well documented.
- Summarize findings from multimedia and document reviews for attorneys and legal team stakeholders.
- Maintain spreadsheets and related logs to monitor review progress, evidence status, and matter-specific updates.
- Support litigation and claims-related activities by preparing materials for legal review and potential court use.
- Apply consistent review standards to sensitive records, including body-worn camera footage when applicable.
Requirements • Experience performing paralegal or legal support work in eDiscovery, document review, or litigation environments.
- Ability to review audio, video, and electronic documents with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Adobe for document handling and review-related tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and maintaining organized tracking tools for large volumes of information.
- Familiarity with civil litigation, court proceedings, or claim administration processes.
- Background in government or public sector legal work is strongly preferred.
- Experience reviewing body camera footage is a plus.
