- Communicate directly with onsite departments and cross-functional team members to request records, clarify discrepancies, and secure export support documents.
- Prepare drawback claim files with the required backup documentation, including proof of export and related customs records.
- Prioritize near-term claim opportunities to accelerate recoveries while creating a framework for additional filings as supporting data becomes available.
- Help establish a sustainable long-term process for ongoing drawback recovery, including documentation standards and reporting expectations.
- Experience working with duty drawback, customs duties, tariffs, or related trade compliance and recovery processes.
- Strong ability to mine and reconcile data across import records, export documents, inventory transactions, and bills of material.
- Working knowledge of export and import documentation, including records used to substantiate proof of export.
- Familiarity with FIFO-based inventory analysis and its application in product traceability or drawback support.
- Experience using ERP or operational systems such as SyteLine to research transactions and supporting records.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify data gaps, validate documentation, and organize findings for claim submission.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with internal stakeholders to obtain required information and move the process forward.
