Payroll Analyst

We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to support a non-profit organization through a contract assignment. This role is ideal for a payroll specialist who can manage complex payroll operations with accuracy, maintain compliance across multiple states, and provide dependable support for a large employee population. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to keep payroll processes running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• • Process complete payroll cycles for a large workforce, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule.
• • Administer payroll activities for employees across multiple states while applying current wage, tax, and compliance requirements.
• • Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, review, validate, and maintain payroll data and related records.
• Full-cycle Workday implementation experience.
• Workday certification or Workday partner consulting background.
• Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
• Exposure to Workday Financials and Finance workstreams.
• Knowledge of California payroll and labor compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting ADP Workforce Now to Workday implementations, including employee data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and migration activities.
• Strong understanding of HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance data, with experience preparing, auditing, and validating data for system conversions.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Time Tracking, including testing, troubleshooting, and supporting implementation milestones.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, lookups, and large-volume data management.
