Robert Half is working with a client in the Atlanta area seeking a Frontend focused Software Engineer.
- Build and enhance modern web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, React, and CSS
- Translate product designs into polished, responsive user experiences
- Make thoughtful decisions around UI/UX, layout, interactions, animations, and performance
- Develop and maintain frontend components integrated with backend APIs
- Contribute to backend development and end-to-end feature delivery as needed
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to launch new products
- Improve application scalability, reliability, security, and overall performance
- Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment
- Help drive engineering best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Must have experience working in a startup
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern CSS
- Experience building and shipping customer-facing web applications
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Background working in startups or high-growth environments with lean teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated curiosity for new technologies, tools, and engineering trends
- Passion for software development beyond day-to-day work, including personal projects, open-source contributions, or side ventures
- Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems, and move quickly in fast-paced environments
- Several years of software engineering experience, ideally with experience predating the widespread adoption of AI-assisted coding tools
- Comfortable working in a high-accountability environment and contributing across multiple areas when needed
- Must reside in the Atlanta area and be able to work onsite in Midtown Atlanta Monday through Friday
