Exciting opportunity helping our client enhance, modify, and streamline their B2B E-Commerce platform built in Oracle ATG/Java Stack. Must be willing to work a hybrid work schedule in the Tampa, FL area.
We’re looking for a highly skilled E‑Commerce Developer with hands-on experience building and optimizing enterprise‑level online commerce solutions. In this role, you’ll work with the Oracle ATG Commerce platform and a modern Java-based tech stack to design, develop, and enhance high‑performance e‑commerce applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user‑friendly digital experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain e‑commerce applications using Oracle ATG Commerce and related modules.
- Build and enhance backend services using Java, J2EE, JSP, JSTL, and modern development frameworks.
- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs to support internal and external system communication.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality features and enhancements.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across the full technology stack.
- Work with Oracle databases, writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Implement front‑end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best‑practice development processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing platform stability and improvements.
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience in e‑commerce or enterprise web applications.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle ATG Commerce (B2C/B2B, Personalization, Commerce pipelines, Droplets, Repositories).
- Solid experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JSTL, and object‑oriented programming principles.
- Proven experience developing REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases, SQL, and performance optimization.
- Experience with front‑end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive UI development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Understanding of e‑commerce best practices, personalization, and site performance optimization.
