- Prepare monthly financial reporting and account analysis to support an accurate close and provide meaningful updates to plant, business unit, and corporate leadership.
- Examine reconciliations and supporting records to confirm the integrity of financial results, resolve discrepancies, and recommend corrections when needed.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reports that help management evaluate operating results, cost trends, and key performance indicators.
- Support the development of forecasts and annual budgets by compiling data, analyzing variances, and contributing financial insight.
- Assist with internal and external audits by organizing documentation, responding to requests, and helping ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen reporting processes related to month-end close, production activity, standard costing, inventory controls, and scrap analysis to improve speed and accuracy.
- Partner with plant and cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes, reinforce data reliability, and align activities with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Identify and drive process or system improvements that increase efficiency within finance and provide better decision-making support to the business.
