Description
Our client, a leading academic and healthcare organization, is looking for an experienced Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Talent Acquisition team. You’ll support a high-volume portfolio of clinical and non-clinical hiring across multiple departments, helping hiring managers fill key roles quickly. This is a great fit for a self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings and define hiring needs
- Manage a requisition load of approximately 40 to 50 open roles
- Post positions and manage job distribution through the client’s applicant tracking system
- Review and screen resumes
- Conduct phone screens to assess qualifications and fit
- Submit qualified candidates to hiring departments
- Keep requisitions moving to help reduce time-to-fill

- Clinical and non-clinical staff positions
- Levels from entry-level and professional through manager and director/senior director
- Departments including Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Medicine, Surgery, Research, Medical Education, Communications, Development, and Administrative offices
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or full-cycle recruiting, managing high requisition volumes (40+ reqs)
- Hands-on experience with Workday (strongly preferred)
- Experience hiring for both clinical and non-clinical roles
- Healthcare or higher education experience (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
