Akkodis is seeking a Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. You will lead the architecture and automation of application deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure. Rate Range: $56/Hour to $57/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Systems Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available application deployment architectures on Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.
- Manage and optimize production Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling, networking, and storage configurations.
- Drive GitOps adoption using tools such as ArgoCD or Flux to automate and standardize deployments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, including 2+ years working with containerized environments.
- Strong hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters, including cluster scaling, RBAC, networking, and storage management.
- Proven expertise with GitOps practices and deployment tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux, along with experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $57.00 per hour
