Akkodis is seeking a GCP - Architect for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. You will lead the architecture, governance, and implementation of cloud-native data and AI solutions leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI, and related GCP services. Rate Range: $56/Hour to $57/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
GCP - Architect Responsibilities include:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and govern cloud-native applications using Python, Terraform, serverless technologies, microservices, and containerized environments.
- Design and implement Generative AI solutions leveraging Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG frameworks, vector databases, and agentic workflows.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, drift detection, and governance frameworks for AI/ML deployments.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technology roadmaps and solution architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, defining best practices, non-functional requirements, security standards, and cloud governance policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in an Architect or Solution Architect role.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, containerization, and infrastructure automation.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $57.00 per hour
