Akkodis is seeking a GCP Developer for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will design and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-native data solutions on GCP to support enterprise analytics and integration needs. Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
GCP Developer Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Python.
- Implement infrastructure automation and deployment processes using Terraform and CI/CD best practices.
- Develop and support cloud-native applications utilizing microservices, serverless technologies, and containerization.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data platform performance, reliability, and production environments.
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on cloud and data engineering.
- Hands-on experience developing scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
- Strong programming expertise in Python along with experience in ETL/ELT development and optimization.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
