Responsibilities:
- Lead the review of complex business and high net worth tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Handle selective hands-on tax preparation while focusing primarily on quality review and final evaluation of deliverables.
- Investigate intricate tax questions independently and develop well-supported conclusions based on current law and guidance.
- Present tax research outcomes and recommendations clearly to clients through both written communication and direct discussion.
- Advise clients on tax-related challenges and offer practical strategies tailored to their business or personal circumstances.
- Manage communication with tax authorities and respond to notices, inquiries, and other government correspondence in a timely manner.
- Support the growth of entry-level tax professionals by providing coaching, technical direction, and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues across engagements to maintain strong client relationships and consistent service quality.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent academic preparation in taxation At least 7 years of experience and 2 years of overseeing tax returns of junior staff. Involved in tax preparation, review, research, and advisory work within public accounting or related services. Demonstrated background working with high net worth clients and closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and pass-through entities. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients clearly. Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
