We are looking for a finance systems leader who can connect accounting operations with enterprise technology in Seattle, Washington. This role is ideal for someone who brings equal strength in financial processes and systems execution, with the ability to improve close activities, strengthen operational discipline, and guide cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving environment. The position will serve as a key partner across Finance, IT, external implementation teams, and vendors to improve the tools and workflows that support the organization’s financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead finance systems initiatives that align accounting operations with technology solutions, ensuring processes support accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Drive end-to-end ERP and finance platform implementations by defining business needs, shaping solution design, overseeing data conversion, coordinating testing, managing cutover activities, and supporting post-launch stabilization.
- Refine month-end close procedures, improve close calendars, and strengthen finance operating workflows to increase consistency, control, and efficiency.
- Act as the central coordinator among Finance, IT, software vendors, and implementation partners to keep projects moving and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Oversee core finance applications such as expense management, tax automation, treasury, and comparable platforms that support broader accounting operations.
- Influence process improvement and organizational adoption by guiding stakeholders through change, even without direct people management responsibility.
- Apply program management discipline to organize priorities, track milestones, manage dependencies, and support successful delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Identify opportunities to use AI-enabled tools to enhance finance analysis, reporting quality, and operational decision-making.
- Support reporting and data initiatives tied to enterprise data platforms, business intelligence tools, and planning solutions when relevant.
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $195,000 + discretionary bonus.

- Strong experience working with NetSuite in a finance systems or finance operations capacity.
- Background that blends accounting or finance expertise with systems knowledge, ideally with a balanced mix of both disciplines.
- Hands-on experience delivering finance system or ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, data migration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Solid understanding of month-end close, trial balance integrity, and core accounting processes within a controlled financial environment.
- Experience administering or owning finance applications such as Concur, Avalara, Kyriba, or similar business-critical platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence, with strong change management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Comfort working as an individual contributor in a lean, high-growth, fast-paced setting with limited administrative support.
- CPA, public accounting experience, and familiarity with process controls, financial reporting tools, or planning and BI platforms are valued.
