The ideal candidate brings strong budgeting expertise, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

- Work closely with clinical operations staff, physicians, and study coordinators to create and manage study-specific and program-level budgets across a high-volume portfolio of active trials.
- Produce recurring budget versus actual reviews and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports that highlight spending trends, variances, and overall program performance.
- Develop preliminary financial models for proposed industry-sponsored studies to support decision-making around program launch, prioritization, and resource planning.
- Update budgets throughout the life of each program to reflect changes in scope, revised assumptions, and shifting study needs.
- Prepare leadership summaries and administrative financial reports for clinical trial programs, adjusting reporting formats to meet sponsor-specific expectations while maintaining consistent core metrics.
- Proven experience preparing and managing detailed budgets in a complex business or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of budget management practices, forecasting methods, and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
- Experience supporting annual budget planning and broader operating budget processes.

- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
- Advanced analytical and organizational skills with close attention to accuracy and changing program requirements.
