Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half is partnering with a leading investment management firm seeking a Manager, Investment Operations to oversee investment performance, reporting, and related operational functions. This role is ideal for someone with strong performance measurement who enjoys working cross-functionally and leading a small team. You’ll have visibility across the organization and play a key role in ensuring performance data is accurate, timely, and client-ready.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily and monthly investment performance reconciliation and reporting across mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and models.
- Oversee pricing, NAV, performance data, and reporting accuracy.
- Manage ongoing GIPS composite maintenance and support annual GIPS presentations and audits.
- Coordinate performance reporting with internal teams and external partners, including custodians, consultants, and data vendors.
- Review and resolve data discrepancies and help strengthen operational controls.
- Partner with Fund Accounting, IT, Sales, Marketing, and other teams on reporting, product launches, audits, and special projects.
- Look for opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve recurring reporting and reconciliation processes
- 7+ years of experience in investment operations, performance measurement, or fund reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or training team members.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively across departments.
- Experience with performance/data platforms such as Morningstar, LSEG, SalesPage, FactSet, Bloomberg, or Charles River is a plus.
- CIPM or progress toward CIPM is preferred.
- Interest in AI and emerging technology is a plus.
