We are looking for a Claims Servicing Representative with customer service/call center experience to act as an empathetic front-line problem solver, providing support to our customers, advisors, channel partners, and distributors by phone, email, and/or chat in an inbound service center. Successful Reps are reliable, consistent, motivated, and compassionate individuals who strive to meet Securian’s quality standards.
This opportunity is full time, Monday - Friday and is a primarily virtual/remote work arrangement within 90 miles of St. Paul, MN and/or Richmond, VA.
salary: $19 - $20 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, timely, and accurate responses to customers, financial professionals, channel partners, and distributors by telephone, email, and/or chat in an inbound service center, consistent with service and quality standards of Securian Financial.
- Assist customers with initiating a variety of insurance claims.
- Explain and resolve complex claim, policy, or account information/issues to our customers and clients.
- Understand and meet or exceed call center metrics while providing an excellent customer experience.
- Cross-train into additional product line upon successful completion of primary training program.
Skills
- Call Center Support (2 years of experience is required)
- Customer Service (2 years of experience is required)
- Claims Servicing (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Life Insurance (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Telephone Etiquette (2 years of experience is preferred)
