Feeder/ Sitdown Forklift

Are you a skilled equipment operator who takes pride in precision and safety? We are looking for a dependable Feeder / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to play a vital frontline role in keeping our metal processing facility running at peak performance. If you have proven experience maneuvering oversized, bulky loads and possess the sharp eye for detail needed to handle exact material specifications, we want to hear from you.

salary: $17.9 - $18 per hour shift: First work hours: 2 PM - 1:30 AM education: High School

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Feeder / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to keep our production line running smoothly by ensuring heavy machinery, including precision CNC machines, band saws, plate saws, and shears, is safely and continuously supplied with raw materials. In this role, you will retrieve raw metals from warehouse racks, physically feed processing equipment, and safely operate sit-down forklifts to transport large, heavy, and bulky loads. High precision is required, specifically the ability to work with fractions and decimals to ensure accurate cutting layouts and exact order fulfillment. Candidates must have demonstrated experience moving large, bulky products using a sit-down forklift. The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
