We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Building Maintenance Assistant to help keep our manufacturing facility running smoothly. In this role, you will handle general building upkeep, grounds care, and basic repairs while partnering with our warehouse, shipping, and production teams to keep operations organized and efficient.
What You’ll Do
- Facility Maintenance: Perform minor building and equipment repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting), change filters/lighting, and maintain clean interior and exterior spaces.
- Grounds Care: Manage basic seasonal grounds upkeep, including light landscaping and winter snow/ice clearing at entrances.
- Operational Support: Assist warehouse and manufacturing teams by moving materials, organizing inventory, and safely operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists.
- Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols, keep work areas clean, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
