Picker Packer

We are hiring a Picker Packer to safely prep, bundle, and stage premium metal building components!

• Navigate the warehouse floor using digital scanners and pick lists to locate metal panels, flashing components, screws, and accessories.
• Thoroughly check panels and parts for paint scratches, dents, manufacturing defects, and dimensional accuracy before packing.
• Stack, band, and palletize metal products using heavy strapping, stretch wrap, and edge protectors to prevent transit damage.
• Verify order sheets against package contents, record weights, apply shipping barcodes, and stage bundles for loading.

Responsibilities

• Review picking lists or use electronic scanners to accurately locate specific metal panels, flashing components, screws, and accessories across the warehouse floor.
• Safely wrap, band, stack, and secure finished metal products onto pallets or into shipping bundles.
• Utilize heavy strapping, stretch wrap, and edge protectors to prevent metal from scratching or bending during transit.
• Visually inspect metal components for defects, paint scratches, or manufacturing errors before loading.
• Verify contents against customer sheets, weigh outgoing packages, and attach correct barcodes or shipping labels.

The essential functions of this role include:
