Our client, a global events services, branding, and experiential marketing company, is seeking a Digital Printing Press Operator in Tempe, AZ. In this role, operating digital presses, this includes maintenance and operation of the device, helping create color profiles, color matching and meeting the quality standards of the business and it's clientele. This position requires a technical skill set with a keen attention to detail.
Day to Day:
- Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
- Troubleshoot printing jobs or machines for errors
- Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment
- Follow job schedule to ensure jobs are running on schedule and delivered
- Digital print operators routinely lift 25 pounds or more and must occasionally move 50 pounds or more
- Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time
- Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, and crouching
About You:
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year of previous experience in digital printing
- Good color discernment
- Computer literacy
- Ability to read a ruler
- Attention to detail
Pay-Rate / Shift:
- $21.00 /hour
- Monday - Friday ( Weekends required during their busy times)
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Overtime may be required
