Warehouse Associate

Our client, a global packaging and manufacturing company, is looking for Utility Workers to join their team in Monroe, NJ. In this role, you will support daily production operations by preparing boxes, assisting packers, inspecting bottles, moving finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare boxes for packers and operate box machines including tape and glue types as needed
• Inspect bottles on assigned machines every 2 hours and record findings on check sheets
• Verify and label packed boxes accurately
• Move packed materials into staging areas using a hand truck or manual pallet jack
• Partial wrap all finished product after QA inspection and apply pallet tags
• Transfer all palletized product to the warehouse
• Relieve packers during breaks and lunch
• Perform all machine repacks before the end of each shift
• Rework red-tagged product at the machine when possible
• Keep bottles off the floor and all open cartons covered at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and supply-ready work area throughout the shift

Requirements:

• Ability to remember packing sequences and pack patterns
• Ability to carry out work orders and make decisions on bottle jams
• Basic math skills to calculate bottle quantities and pack in numerical sequence
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to understand packing labels, work orders, and safety notices
• Ability to print legibly and fill out required forms
• Must be punctual and ready to begin work immediately at the workstation
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs overhead up to 6 feet high and carry boxes 70–80 times per day
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and pull loads up to 450 feet
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work on your feet approximately 80% of the shift
• Must wear required PPE including steel-tipped shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnets
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with overtime on short notice
• Must be able to visually detect bottle defects

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
• Shift D - 43.5 hours/week:
• Monday: 8:15 AM – 8:15 PM
• Tuesday: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM
• Thursday: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM
• Friday & Saturday: Off
• Sunday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
• Shift C - 44 hours/week:
• Monday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:45 PM – 8:30 AM
• Wednesday & Thursday: Off
• Friday: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM
• Saturday: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM
• Sunday: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM
