Rated number one for employee happiness! We are seeking a motivated, organized, and results driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at its Melville, NY facility. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating production activities, supervising manufacturing personnel, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that production schedules and operational objectives are met The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. This individual will promote a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork while ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and in accordance with established quality standards. salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7:15 AM - 4 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure manufacturing schedules, output goals, and delivery commitments are met.
- Assign work, prioritize tasks, and allocate personnel and equipment based on production requirements.
- Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and established manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with planning, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, and warehouse personnel to resolve production issues.
- Monitor material availability and communicate shortages or potential delays to management.
- Maintain accurate production records, labor reporting, and shift documentation.
