Akkodis is seeking a Web Developer for a Contract job with a client in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET Core, Node.js, and Okta, along with expertise in developing enterprise applications, microservices, and cloud-based solutions. Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Web Developer Job Responsibilities Include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications utilizing .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, C#, and Node.js technologies.
- Build scalable full-stack applications leveraging modern development frameworks and microservices-based architectures.
- Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and web services that support internal business applications and customer-facing digital platforms.
- Develop and support Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) capabilities, including user registration, authentication, authorization, profile management, and access lifecycle functions.
- Integrate applications with Okta and other Identity Providers while implementing Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML-based authentication solutions.
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications in AWS environments, including containerized applications and Kubernetes/EKS-based deployments.
- Develop and optimize data solutions utilizing MongoDB, SQL Server, and relational database technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions to support application reliability and performance.
- Support CI/CD initiatives utilizing tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, CloudBees, ArgoCD, UCD, and related DevOps platforms.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five to six years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, C#, and Node.js.
- Strong expertise in .NET Core application development and modern software engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and API development within distributed application environments.
- Strong experience integrating enterprise applications with Okta or other identity and access management platforms.
- Experience developing microservices architectures, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, MFA, and SSO.
- Experience working with MongoDB, SQL Server, database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with React and modern front-end development frameworks.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications within AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with MERN Stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation frameworks.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise digital transformation and customer-facing application platforms.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
