Akkodis is seeking a Sr. DevOps Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will drive the automation, deployment, and continuous improvement of DevOps and network infrastructure processes to enhance software delivery and operational reliability. Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr. DevOps Specialist Responsibilities include:
- Build, maintain, and optimize DevOps tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment.
- Deploy, configure, and manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) systems across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and resolve DNS and DHCP-related incidents.
- Automate network operations and workflows using REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, and other automation tools.
- Support software releases, deployments, migrations, and production environments while ensuring security and reliability.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and delivery speed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in networking with strong expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) technologies.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Unix/Linux environments, with proven troubleshooting and automation skills.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
