Akkodis is seeking an Engineer II for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will support the coordination and delivery of critical relay protection panel fabrication projects to help maintain a safe and reliable power grid. Rate Range: $50/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer II Responsibilities include:
- Assign and manage relay protection panel fabrication orders with approved vendors based on production capacity.
- Coordinate the delivery of owner-supplied materials and equipment to fabrication vendors.
- Monitor fabrication progress and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders to support project schedules.
- Conduct vendor site visits to assess quality control processes and identify potential delivery risks.
- Maintain and update tracking systems, databases, and reports for panel fabrication orders and completion timelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Procurement, and PMO teams to resolve issues and ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, or a related industry.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
