Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions to support efficient data processing and analytics. Rate Range: $50/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Develop and support data warehouses, data lakes, and BigQuery environments for efficient data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and automation processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Optimize data infrastructure performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Leverage GCP services and AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and streamline data engineering workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, or similar AI technologies.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
