Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence. Rate Range: $50/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
- Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions for structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and data wrangling processes using modern cloud-based technologies.
- Develop automation scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and analytical tools to improve data engineering efficiency.
- Monitor and enhance data platform performance while leveraging GCP and AI-assisted development tools to drive innovation and productivity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), data modeling, data warehousing, data ingestion, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Gemini Code Assist, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
