A growing, Raleigh based organization is hiring a Corporate Controller to lead Accounting and Financial operations across a complex business structure. This role will work closely with leadership and play a key part in strengthening internal processes and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting activities across multiple business units
- Review and guide the close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial data
- Monitor cash activity and support planning around short- and long-term needs
- Handle complex accounting areas and support proper treatment of unique transactions
- Maintain oversight of day-to-day accounting activity to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization
- Support implementation and optimization of systems, tools, and reporting capabilities as the business scales
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, planning, and performance tracking to support informed decision-making
- Partner with internal teams and external providers to keep operations running smoothly
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency through better processes or tools
- Support various reporting and analysis needs for leadership
Requirements:
- 8+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility
- Strong foundation in financial reporting, consolidations, and general accounting principles
- Fund Accounting experience is highly preferred
- Experience working in environments with multiple business lines or structures
- CPA or similar certification is preferred
