We are currently assisting a reputable company in Richmond, VA with its search for a Manager of Accounting. It will report to the Corporate Controller and work closely with the leadership team. They are working a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee accounting functions for assigned clients, ensuring accurate month-end close and financial reporting. · Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting processes. · Prepare and review complex financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. · Advise on accounting policies, process improvements, and financial best practices. · Collaborate with leadership and senior team members to address complex accounting issues. · Support long-term financial planning, KPIs, and financial modeling. · Review work prepared by team members and provide technical mentoring. · Communicate financial insights directly with executives. · Ensure compliance with Firm quality standards and applicable regulations.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred · 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience. · Proven management experience and strong leadership skills · Strong technical accounting skills and advanced financial analysis abilities.
