Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience required
- Experience with LTL, truckload, and small parcel shipping processes preferred
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and shipping software
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Receive incoming shipments and verify product accuracy
- Process shipments using computerized shipping and manifest systems
- Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Organize inventory and ensure proper product placement throughout the warehouse
- Perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
- Repackage and relabel products as needed
- Load and unload LTL, truckload, parcel, and container shipments
- Operate pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and organize products in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and production conditions as required.
