Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client’s team on a temp-to-hire basis.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations. Assist with the month-end close process, including reviewing transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Maintain general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed. Support the accounting team with daily accounting activities and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
0+ years of accounting experience. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience with bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and month-end close is preferred. Familiarity with Sage 100 is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the accounting team.
Additional Details Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Work Arrangement: Onsite. Compensation: Up to $60,000 annually upon conversion to permanent employment. Opportunity: Temp-to-hire, with the potential for a long-term position as the accounting department continues to grow. Start Date: Immediate. Background Check: Required and conducted by the client.
