We are looking for a Product Designer to shape thoughtful, scalable experiences for a growing AI-driven product in Jacksonville, Florida. This role will lead design across core workflows, from app-building journeys to administrative and governance features, while helping establish a cohesive visual and interaction foundation. The ideal candidate brings strong systems thinking, comfort working closely with engineering, and the ability to turn feedback and product complexity into clear, user-centered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the platform’s design system, including reusable patterns, visual rules, and well-documented component behavior for AI-powered applications.
- Define detailed component guidance that supports both engineering implementation and high-quality AI-generated interface outputs.
- Strengthen generated product experiences by spotting repeat usability or consistency problems and improving the underlying design logic that drives them.
- Design complete user journeys across the app builder, AI-assisted interactions, and workspace administration capabilities.
- Maintain a high standard of visual consistency, accessibility, and ease of use throughout customer-facing environments.
- Partner directly with engineers in a hands-on way to iterate on components, validate implementation quality, and review released experiences.
- Use lightweight discovery methods such as user feedback, quick testing, and ongoing observation to inform continuous product improvements.
- Contribute design work for web, demo, and marketing experiences while clearly presenting rationale and tradeoffs to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage priorities independently, balance scope effectively, and drive meaningful design progress as the sole Product Designer.
- At least 3 years of experience designing software products that have been delivered from early concept through launch and iteration.
- Demonstrated success building or expanding design systems with structured components, visual variables, and supporting documentation.
- Strong capability in interaction design and information architecture for sophisticated, information-dense product experiences.
- Experience designing interfaces related to AI-assisted workflows, conversational products, or dynamically generated user experiences.
- Proficiency with Figma or comparable design platforms, including advanced use of components, variables, and prototypes.
- Working knowledge of accessibility best practices and standards relevant to modern digital products.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain design choices clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take ownership as a self-directed individual contributor.
